Privacy Policy

The short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from anybody else's server. The long version is below - the little data we do handle, why we have it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who runs this website

Claude Community Poland is an independent, volunteer-run initiative. It is not a company, and it is not operated by Anthropic. The website, the domain and the community inbox are run by the organizers listed on the about page.

For anything on this page - a question, a correction, or a request to remove something - write to hello@claudecommunity.pl.

Cookies and tracking: none

This website sets no cookies. It has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no social media buttons that talk to anybody. Fonts are served from this site, so simply reading a page here contacts no other server at all.

Two things are stored in your browser, and only when you ask for them by clicking:

  • your theme choice - whether you set light or dark mode
  • your language choice - so the site opens in the language you picked last time

Both stay in your browser, are never sent to us or to anyone else, and are removed when you clear this site's data. Neither identifies you, and neither needs a consent banner - which is why this site does not have one.

Hosting and server logs

The site is static files hosted on Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3 and CloudFront) in the Frankfurt region (eu-central-1). Like any web server, that infrastructure can record technical details of a request - IP address, time, the page requested, browser type - for security and reliability. We do not use those records to identify readers, and we do not combine them with anything else.

The "Add your meetup" form

The Add your meetup button opens a form hosted on Google Forms, on Google's own website. We use it to collect what we need in order to add a group to this site: the name of the meetup, its city, links to it, and a way to reach the person organizing it.

We use those answers only to get back to you and to publish the group here. Google acts as our service provider for the form, and while you are on Google's page, Google's own privacy policy applies to that visit. If you would rather not use it, email us instead.

Email

Mail sent to our inbox is kept for as long as the matter is open, and afterwards for as long as it is useful to remember it. If your question is really about one local group, we may forward it to that group's organizers - as the about page says, contacting them directly is usually quicker.

Organizers shown on this site

Each meetup page and the about page show the organizers of that group: name, photo, a short description of what they do, and usually a link to their LinkedIn profile. They are published with those people's agreement, so that a reader knows who is behind a local meetup. Any of them can ask us to change or remove their entry at any time, and we will.

Signing up for a meetup happens elsewhere

This website has no registration and no attendee lists. Every event links out to Meetup, Luma or LinkedIn, and signing up there means giving your data to that platform and to the organizers of that particular group - each of which decides on its own what it does with it. Their privacy policies apply, not this one.

Your rights

If we hold data about you - a form submission, an email, or what we publish about you as an organizer - you can ask us to:

  • send you a copy of it
  • correct it
  • delete it
  • stop using it

Write to hello@claudecommunity.pl and we will handle it.

Changes to this page

If this changes, we will change this page. The footer below states when it was last updated - that date is stamped by the build and moves only when the text above actually changes.
